Yes. ABA is one of the most researched and evidence-based interventions for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Research shows it improves communication, social skills, independence, and behavior when delivered consistently and individualized to the child.
Early intervention is ideal. Many children begin ABA between ages 2–6. However, therapy can benefit older children as well. The earlier support begins, the stronger the long-term developmental outcomes.
Modern ABA is child-centered and ethical. It does not use punishment-based approaches. Instead, it focuses on building skills, encouraging independence, and respecting each child’s individuality.
Yes. We specialize in one-on-one home-based ABA therapy across Hong Kong. Home sessions help children generalize skills in natural environments and allow strong family involvement.
All therapists at Roots Therapy Hub are Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) with advanced degrees and extensive experience in autism and special educational needs. Our Clinical Director is a BCBA with over 18 years of experience working with children with autism and other additional needs.
This depends on the child’s needs, age, and goals. After assessment, an individualized treatment plan recommends appropriate weekly hours.
Yes. We provide Triple P, Stepping Stones Triple P, and Happy Parenting programs in English and Cantonese to support families and improve outcomes.
Data is collected during each session to track skill acquisition and behavior changes. Programs are continuously reviewed and adjusted based on measurable progress.
